1992 | Finished Biblical Theology course at the Graduate School of the Catholic University of Korea |

1993 – 1996 | Served as master of novices, Order of Discalced Carmelites |
1996 – 1999 | Served as Director of students in Monastery of Seoul |
2000 – 2004 | Studied Sacred Scriptures at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome (Master´s degree) |
2005 – 2008 | Served as Provincial Definitor of the Order of Discalced Carmelites of Korea and Vice-mastor of Incheon monastery |
